"Ever since high school, I have battled with my weight. Diets never worked for me (loved food too much, I guess, *L*) and although I've had quite a few gym memberships in the past, I never had the initiative to get up and go. I'm very good about making excuses, and I would always find one to keep me from getting up off the couch. Excuses: I worked too hard today, I'm tired, need to clean the house, too cold out, too hot out, etc...After a few years, pregnancies, and a very sedentary lifestyle, I realized that the only place I could shop for clothes were plus-size specialty shops. Even there, it was hard to find clothes to fit me because I'm only 5'2".
"Then I discovered TaeBo. The infomercial showed 'before and after' pics of the these people, and Billy Blanks seems so motivational. I ordered the tapes and started immediately. The weight started falling off and I began to feel great! Unfortunately, due to moves, illnesses, surgeries, and what have you, I had to stop for a while and the weight came back. I've now started again, and just since January 1, 2001, I have friends and co-workers commenting on the progress, and my husband thinks I look great! *G* I still have a long way to go (at least 50-60 lbs.), but I am going to keep at it until I reach my goal. The excuses are gone (how can you have excuses when all you have to do is pop the tape in hit 'play') and I look forward to my workout every day. I do my workout in the morning, due to my work schedule, and it keeps me in a great mood all day.
