George R. Lemons
GEORGETOWN - George Riley Lemons, 78, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.W. Southworth, of 93 Chippewa Road at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday (January 14, 1947).
Born in Pendleton County, KY October 17, 1868, Mr. Lemons was married at Cincinnati in 1903. He came here from Kentucky five years ago, was retired farmer and a member of the Baptist church and the Masonic Lodge of Georgetown, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Earle Mastin Lemons, a son, Cecil Anderson Lemons, and two daughters, Mrs. Twyla Southworth and Mrs. Golda Brown, all of Pontiac; three sisters, Mrs. Lake (Louis) Ludwig of Covington, KY, Mrs. Maggie Wagner of Louisville, KY, and Mrs. Sadie Gale of Washington, DC.
The body will be taken from the Pursley Funeral Home to the Johnson Funeral Home at Georgetown, KY this evening at 8:30 where service will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. with burial in the Georgetown cemetery.
Lemons
Cecil (Red) Lemons, 66, (born March 18, 1911) passed away at 3:20 a.m. Monday (March 6, 1978) at the Woodford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a resident of Tyrone Pike, Versailles, and a native of Kenton County. He was associated with the McCauley Brothers Company prior to his retirement. He was a past president of the Lexington Supervisors Club and a member of Centenary Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosemary Lemons; two daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Wagner, Indiana; Mrs. Beth White Lexington; two sons, George and Steven Lemons, Versailles; three step-sons, Robert Kingsland, Mich., Richard Kingsland, Louisville, Charles Kingsland, New Jersey; two sisters, Mrs. Golda Brown, Florida, and Mrs. Twyla Southworth, Louisiana, and fourteen grandchildren. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel, Versailles, conducted by Rev. Maurice Howard with burial in Georgetown Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel 4-plm. today.
Mrs. Ella Earle Lemons
Mrs. Ella Lemons, 82, of 150 North Arcadia Park, died at 11:02 o'clock last night at Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a patient since June 3. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Walter W. Southworth.

Rosemary Bush Lemons, 77, of Jamestown, KY, died Tuesday, August 7, 2001.
She was born to Claude & Mildred Ryan Bush on October 6, 1923 in Ecourse, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Anderson Lemons; her son, Richard [Dick] Kingsland; and her sister, Arlene Whalen, Michigan.
She is survived by four sons: Robert [Bob] Bruce Kingsland, of Stewart, FL; Charles [Chick] Elmer Kingsland, of Flemington, NJ; George Earl Lemons, of Versailles, KY; and Steven Anderson Lemons, also of Versailles, KY.
She is survived by one daughter, Beth Ann Morgan, of Jamestown, KY.
She is survived by three daughters-in-laws: Pat Kingsland, Winter Springs, FL; Judy Kingsland, Flemington, NJ; and Lisa Lemons, Versailles, KY, and one son-in-law, Rev. Richard Morgan, Jamestown.
Grandchildren include Kimber Kingsland, Cory Kingsland, Rick [& Tammie] Kingsland, Angie [& Bryan] Fowler, JB [& Kristie] Kingsland, Bill [& Debbie] Kingsland, Kelly [& Don] Alexander, Anna [& Anthony] O'Keeffe, Amanda [& Jason] Langos, Michael Lemons, Jason Lemons, & Andrew Lemons.

Hancock
Joseph Hancock, 11, and his brother, Michael Francis Hancock, 7, of Holly, were killed Sunday night when a car driven by their father, Joseph, collided with one driven by Joseph E. Waldecker, Dearborn, on US-10, about 15 miles north of Pontiac. The elder Hancock was critically hurt; Waldecker uninjured.
These are Aunt Ardale's sons who were killed Feb. 6, 1955.
BUSH, Mildred - 2297 Russell St., Flint, formerly of Holly, age 65, died Thursday, December 19, 1966, at Flinit Osteopathic Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly, Rev. Eldon Mossman officiating. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly.
Mrs. Bush was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 16, 1901, the daughter of June and Helen Pusey Ryan. She was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle. Surviving are: Husband, Claude; 4 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ardale) Scott of Drayton Plains, Mrs. Arlene Whalen of Flint, Mrs. Cecil (Rosemary) Lemons or Rushville, Indiana, and Mrs. Donald (Donna) Clark of Holly; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
I believe her mother's name should have been listed as "Helen Ryan". She married Walter Pusey much later.
